About The Heart to Heart Healing Connection
Within our walls are several techniques provided by two wonderful, heart centered, compassionate facilitators.
Michelle McCarthy combines several techniques learned over the years to work with her clients in helping them "release the issues from their tissues" and to reconnect with the truth of who they are and to their soul's purpose. She calls in Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy®, Healing Touch, Shamballa Multi-Dimensional Healing and the voice of Spirit to assist this process.
She finds the combination of techniques to be gentle and yet amazingly powerful in helping people to gently let go of what no longer serves them. Her goal is to provide sacred space, utilize techniques that she knows from personal experience work, and to listen to the inner voice so that each client can heal in the way that is perfect.

Welcome to The Heart to Heart Healing Connection! My name is Michelle McCarthy, and I am the owner of Heart to Heart. My journey into energy healing began in 1996 when Reiki found me and pulled me out of the depths of depression. I was living in a time I now call "The dark night of my soul", and I was seriously contemplating suicide.
I've heard it said that when the student is ready, the teacher appears . . . and such is the case for me. I found myself on the receiving end of a Reiki session in early 1996, though admittedly at the time I had no clue what Reiki was, nor had I ever heard of it back then. However, what transpired literally saved my life, and by 1999 I knew it was time to change my path.
I have 32 years in the grooming industry, and was self-employed in that field until I decided to close the doors in 1999. In essence, I looked heaven-ward and said, "Ok you guys, I am here on this great planet because of your intervention. So now, USE ME. What will you have me do?" I had taken three levels of Reiki by then, and felt that I needed to be out in the world helping others with this technique.
Much to my surprise, the Universe took my request seriously! I was guided to close my business and begin a small private practice in my home. I began seeing clients, teaching Reiki to friends and family, and before long, I was doing Reiki intro workshops and volunteering my time in a correctional facility, teaching Reiki to the inmates.
My life has been gently and beautifully guided along the way since Reiki came into it. Spirit guided me into Integrated Energy Therapy® within a few years of beginning my Reiki practice. From the very first class, I began to incorporate Integrated Energy Therapy® with Reiki; the results were astounding! I knew I had found a wonderful combination of techniques to help people self-heal - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This year, The Center of Being recognized and awarded me with a certificate as one of the Top 27 of 2007 - IET® Master Instructors for the number of people I brought into the energy of Integrated Energy Therapy®! I was also recognized as one of the Top 25 of 2005.
It took a few years for me to feel as if I wanted to move my private practice into a professional location, but Spirit once again guided the way, and provided a space that would accommodate small, intimate group classes and rooms for sessions.
Today, we have a lovely space in which to provide this heartfelt healing energy to others as well as being able to empower them through teaching a variety of techniques. Currently, I provide individual sessions and classes in all levels of Integrated Energy Therapy® and Reiki. I incorporate the "voice" of spirit in my sessions, inviting the Angels, Archangels, God/Goddess, the Ascended Masters and all those who reside in the Light to join the session, for my clients' and my own highest good and highest healing. I am also a distributor of the Amethyst BioMat, and include the BioMat in sessions with clients.
